About this trip

BIG MOUNTAIN. GOOD PEOPLE. YOUR KIND OF BED.

We’re heading to Les Menuires for a full February half-term week in the Three Valleys.

Snow Hopes brings people together through properly organised, genuinely social ski and snowboard trips in the mountains.

You’ll have people to ride with, people to eat with, people to grab a drink with — and plenty of freedom to do your own thing.

Hit the slopes when you’re ready. Find people who want to ride at your pace. Split off for an afternoon. Have a long lunch. Join après. Meet everyone for dinner. Get an early night.

There’s no fixed start time, no expectation that everyone catches the same lift and nobody is holding a clipboard.

It’s your holiday.

YOUR BED. YOUR BUDGET.

For this trip, we’re doing accommodation a little differently.

Rather than squeezing everyone into a fixed allocation of beds, we’ll source accommodation to suit you as enquiries come in.

Coming solo and happy to share? Want your own room? Travelling with a friend, partner or small group? Looking for somewhere simple and good value, or fancy a bit more comfort and a spa?

Choose the accommodation level and price range that suits you, and we’ll find the best available option close to the rest of the Snow Hopes group — and, if you’re sharing, match you with like-minded roommates.

CHOOSE YOUR LEVEL

🥉 BRONZE — GOOD VALUE 3★
Comfortable, well-located self-catering accommodation. Think Résidence Les Combes or similar.
Around £650pp

🥈 SILVER — MORE COMFORT 4★
A step up in facilities and finish. Think Résidence Aconit or similar.
Around £750pp

🥇 GOLD — 4★ WITH SPA
For those who consider a sauna after skiing a necessity rather than a luxury. Think Le Chalet du Mont Vallon or similar.
Around £1,275pp

PLUS YOUR MOUNTAIN BITS

Allow around £375 for your lift pass and £125 for return group transfers from Geneva.

Flights or rail, equipment hire and lessons are separate, so you can arrange those to suit you.

These are accommodation categories and guide prices rather than fixed properties. Availability and prices change quickly at half term, so we’ll source the best available option when you enquire.

Coming as a family? You’ll want something more bespoke. Tell us what you need and roughly what you’d like to spend, and we’ll find the best available option close to the rest of the Snow Hopes group.

Prices vary depending on availability, apartment size and occupancy. We’ll confirm exactly where you’ll be staying, who you’ll be sharing with (if applicable) and what it costs before you commit to anything.

And where there are bunks, only the bottom one will be used. No one will be sent up a ladder after après; we have standards.

Different beds. Different budgets. Same Snow Hopes trip.

Come on your own, come with someone you know, tell us what works for you and join us for a brilliant week of skiing, snowboarding, mountain lunches, après, dinners and new friends.

WHERE ARE WE STAYING?

We’ll be based around Les Bruyères, with accommodation sourced as close to the rest of the Snow Hopes group as possible and excellent access to the slopes.

Les Bruyères is a lively, self-contained part of Les Menuires with its own restaurants, bars and shops, so there’s no need to head across the resort every time you fancy dinner or a drink. There’s plenty going on, but it feels a little more grown-up and less child-focused than La Croisette.

La Croisette is the resort’s main family hub, with nursery slopes and children’s activities, around 10 minutes' walk away or a short hop on the free shuttle bus. During February half-term, it will also be extremely busy and full of small people learning to snowplough.

Les Bruyères gives us the best of both: everything we need nearby, brilliant mountain access and a bit of breathing space from the busiest family part of the resort.

WHO'S COMING?

This trip is designed particularly with solo travellers in mind, but you don’t need to arrive alone.

Come solo, come with mates or come as part of a small group. Everyone is part of the same Snow Hopes crowd.

Our travellers are generally aged 30–65+ (although everyone is welcome!), with a real mixture of ages, backgrounds, skiing and snowboarding abilities — and preferred levels of enthusiasm before 9am.

You don’t need to know anyone before you arrive.

There’ll be a group chat before the trip, opportunities to meet people beforehand and plenty of ways to find others who want to ski, snowboard, eat and socialise at your pace.

You might arrive alone. You won’t have to stay that way.

PICK YOUR BED

We’re sourcing accommodation to suit each booking, rather than filling a fixed allocation of apartments to the slightly alarming maximum capacity advertised by the accommodation provider.

Choose Bronze, Silver or Gold, then tell us how you’d prefer to sleep, who you’d prefer to share with and what you’re comfortable spending. We’ll use that to find the best available match and, where you’re travelling solo, match you with suitable Snow Hopes roommates.

For shared Snow Hopes accommodation, we’ll aim for:

  • One person per allocated sleeping space

  • No shared double beds (unless you’re bringing someone you actually want to share one with)

  • No top bunks

  • Sensibly occupied apartments rather than maximum-capacity sardine mode

  • Female-only and male-only apartments by default

  • Mixed apartments for friends or groups who want to stay together

  • Roommate matching that takes your preferences into account

Some Bronze and Silver options may use sofa beds in the apartment living area to keep costs down. We’ll always tell you what your sleeping arrangement is and who you’ll be sharing with before you commit, so you can decide what works for you.

ACCOMMODATION EXAMPLES

The photos below show examples of the Bronze, Silver and Gold accommodation we've previously sourced in Les Menuires, including Résidence Les Combes, Résidence Aconit and Le Chalet du Mont Vallon.

Your accommodation may be in one of these residences or somewhere similar. We’ll always show you the exact property, room or sleeping arrangement and price before you decide to book.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

Ready to join us? Register your interest for £25 and tell us what you’re looking for — your accommodation level, budget, sleeping preferences and who you’d prefer to share with.

We’ll then get to work finding the best available option for you.

Your £25 is fully refundable if we don’t secure accommodation for you.

Once you approve an accommodation option and your place on the trip is confirmed, the £25 becomes your Snow Hopes Trip Fee and is non-refundable. It covers trip coordination, in-resort Snow Hopes support and first-night Welcome Drinks.

We won’t book anything without your approval. You’ll see the exact accommodation, sleeping arrangements, price and payment terms before you commit.

BOOKING AND FINANCIAL PROTECTION

HOW YOUR ACCOMMODATION IS BOOKED

Your accommodation will be booked through an established travel operator or agency with appropriate consumer financial protection, such as ABTA, ABTOT or equivalent, depending on the provider and booking arrangement.

Accommodation payments will be made using secure payment links provided by the relevant travel operator, agency or authorised accommodation supplier.

No accommodation money is collected through WeTravel or paid into a Snow Hopes or personal bank account.

About your organizer

Snow Hopes runs group ski and snowboard holidays for grown ups.

Our trips are built for people who want great skiing and snowboarding by day and more than a quiet chalet and an early night.

Trips range from 25 to 150+. Nobody rides alone unless they want to, and daily riding groups mean you're always out with people who want to go at your pace.

Off the mountain, there's a genuine buzz: group dinners, après and activities, a full trip's worth of people to get to know. All of its opt-in — join in as much or as little as suits you, no pressure either way.

Solo? Couple? Small crew? Doesn't matter. You'll leave with a group chat full of people you want to see again next season.

Solo travellers: we match you with likeminded room-mates. Coming with mates? We can group you into your own accommodation.

We work with accredited partners to sort the accommodation, transfers and lift passes. You just get yourself here.

So reserve your place, book your own flights, and we'll see you on the mountain!
